To install WordPress on your hosting server or a Managed Flex Server, log in to the Hostpoint Control Panel with your Hostpoint ID (1). In the server overview, go to “Websites” then “One-click apps”. Go to “Available applications”, select WordPress, and then click “Install” (2). In the next step, choose the corresponding domain, accept the Terms of Use, and then click “Install” (3). WordPress is now installed on your hosting server. You will see the login details for your first login once after installation. Write this information down or save it in your browser. Now you can log in to your WordPress site using the link shown.

You or your agency or webmaster are responsible for maintenance, modifications, and updates. How often you need to update your WordPress, including plug-ins and themes (design templates) depends, among other things, on the number of installed plug-ins and themes. In general, we recommend logging in to the WordPress backend at least once a week to check whether updates are available, and if so installing them. Please note that Hostpoint does not offer application support for third-party apps. Of course, we are happy to help with concrete questions or problems and offer tips where possible.
