To install WordPress on your hosting server or a Managed Flex Server, log in to the Hostpoint Control Panel with your Hostpoint ID (1). In the server overview, go to “Websites” then “One-click apps”. Go to “Available applications”, select WordPress, and then click “Install” (2). In the next step, choose the corresponding domain, accept the Terms of Use, and then click “Install” (3). WordPress is now installed on your hosting server. You will see the login details for your first login once after installation. Write this information down or save it in your browser. Ideally, save the details in the password manager of your choice.

If you install WordPress on your Hostpoint web hosting and already have the domain, you can link the address to your website during installation. However, you can also subsequently change the domain at any time. Follow the instructions in our Support Center for this.
